Is this the greatest parking job of all time?
Well, no, its not. He ends up bumping both cars, but still caused no visible damage to them. However, the fact that he still got in there is insane. Dude's got George Costanza swag.
Also, today is the last day of classes. Now a month of freedom (aside from finals)!

Lazy Friday
Ahoy there folks. I've been trapped in a dungeon the last couple of days writing essays, and I'm glad to temporarily be out. I also just picked up an iPhone, and while I still like the Android OS more...I can tell I'll be content with getting iPhones for a loooooong time. Their processing power seems to be a little bit more consistent, and to be honest, thats all I really care about. Anyways, I fell asleep in the school library last night and wasted a bunch of my day today sleeping, so here what is quite possibly Russell Peters only good bit. Dude is spot on with impressions and accents!
Have a good weekend!

Sunday Funday
Well, its a busy one for me today. I still have papers to write, but I have a dilemma. My crew's old bar is shutting down for good...so we're all going down to have one last beer and watch the Grey Cup (Canadian Football...I couldn't care less about it). Hopefully that last beer stays at one, and doesn't turn into too many, I don't think writing a paper drunk would be too good (or would it?)
Here is a free tune from a good friend of mine, Mark Instinct. Its on some moombaton steez. Lets here what you think!

More Free Tunes For You!
Thank you all for the wishes on the midterm. I wrote it today...and am pretty confident about it! Its always good to come out of an exam with that confidence. Last exam I got a B-, so lets see if I can top it!
Anyways, here are some new downloads for you. I really love all three. Now, back to studying!

Back on the Trolley
Well its been a little while since I've done a legitimate post, and here is why. Its been a long week, working on papers, group projects, and studying for midterms (sadly, I've only had one midterm so far...four more to go...), as well as finding out my wisdom teeth are quite impacted, and super inflamed. Bleh.
However, there is good news. With my work and school coverage, it will pretty much be 100% covered, and thats always nice. I've also had a bunch of people look at my papers (it'd been a while since I wrote a proper essay), and they said there wasn't a whole lot of fault in there; just minor rust. Its also (Canadian) Thanksgiving, so me and the lady are going away for a few days. Its nowhere special, but they have one of the top paleontology museums in the country. And we're nerds, so it works. Plus the hotel has a hot tub, so fuck yeah.
And since I can't leave you without something to remember, here are Cam'Rons Most Ignorant Moments. If you don't know who Cam'ron is, he is a rapper from Harlem, who as you will see, has done and said some pretty hilarious things. You may recognize him from this meme (which is from moment #4):

Some more examples of these ignorant moments: showing off the stripclub in his house, bringing a girl into Walgreens and seeing what she can hold in her butt cheeks, making his mom scrub his jewelry with a toothbrush...its pretty funny.
Happy Thanksgiving, folks!

The Weeknd
Last night I went to this super hip party in this venue called "The Area". It was pretty cool. It was down in this neighbourhood called Inglewood (which used to be the ghetto, but has been somewhat gentrified. I remember living down there as a kid, and having some homeless guy walk into our apartment from the balcony out of nowhere). Anyways, they had the "bar" in a shack with a bathroom, and then had the DJ out in the backyard in a shed, which was beside a bunch of fire pits. It was super cool, it just felt like a huge house party. Anywho, while I was there I ran into my friend Adam, who is on our national gymnastics team (or was, I'm not too sure anymore). He told me to check out this guy The Weeknd. Guy is from Toronto, and is super chilled out. So, since it is now saturday morning for me, I give you some tunes for the hangover recovery!
If you liked that, he has given away both of his albums for free on his website. Now, time to relish my day off and start working on an essay and a group project; have a good weekend, all!

Not a Whole Lot From Me
Today, anyways. These last two weeks have been kicking my ass. School started last week, and until yesterday, I'd still pretty much been working every night! Today is my early day, so I'm just going to leave you with a quick post for now (and might do another one during my break later).
This is a tune, its so smooth!

Jimi Hendrix vs Wu-Tang...The History of Hip Hop and a Free Tune From Noah D/Roommate

Yes, this did happen, and yes, it is awesome. I just bought the mp3's last night, took a listen, and have no regrets spending the ten dollars. Buy it here or just stream it here. Personally, I haven't found a mash-up album I've liked since Dangermouse's "Grey Album" (a mash-up of Jay-Z's 'Black Album' and The Beatles 'White Album'), but this is one of the rawest mixtapes I've heard all year. Wu and Jimi were just meant to be together I guess. Here's a few samples for you:
A while back, the guys at The Rub did a bunch of mixes, showcasing the best Hip Hop tracks from each year that Hip Hop has been around (1979-2010). Some personal favorites of mine are 1989, 1992, 1998, 2002, and for the clubs 2005/2006
And since I haven't really done this for a while...here's a free tune from Noah D and Roommate, on the more Reggae type vibes.

Also, last night was my University Orientation. It was quite weird, since I'm only 22, yet still technically a mature student...so the orientation really wasn't geared towards me. It was more about how to connect with the younger generation. And while the kids in their first years all all 5 years younger than me (still a lot different), I'm not THAT disconnected with them.
