News for the 22nd!

So I got that new computer...but I guess my parents had discovered Torrents since I'd moved out. So, I'd love to wipe everything, but they've lost their windows disk. Urg. Anyways, here's some news for you.

American artist Alexa Meadehas made some "Real Life Paintings". You just kinda have to look at it to see what I mean. Its pretty cool!

MLK is getting a memorial in DC, with the likes of Lincoln and Jefferson. Its about time, but I don't know if I really like the monument itself...

You've probably heard about everything that is currently happening in Libya, and how the rebels are finally getting into Tripoli, but here is an audio clip of Gaddafi's son getting captured while in an interview. You can hear the rebels busting in and everything.

I can hear the nails on the chalkboard now...

A woman in Florida has been accused of trying to sell her 5 year old son, for $2000, so she could feed her prescription drug habit. The people who turned the mother in, had helped her out in watching her son...so she figured why not sell him to them? This is so sad.

And speaking of sad...there was some big fight between two families in Winnipeg (if you've never been to, or heard of Winnpeg...I guess its comparable to any US Midwest city, just smaller. I don't recommend going. Ever.), and someone is being charged with using their car as a weapon. To quote the article "It was right about over here where a girl was dragged under the (vehicle), her legs. It was really hard to tell because there was smoke from the tires being spun, but it looked like one girl was run right over"

And on a lighter note, before I go, here is the headline of the day: Kiwi gals swig shots of horse semen. Umm.....

  18. I think you can get a copy of windows for free, as long as you have the license code... sometimes it's printed on the computer case. There should be plenty of legit copies to torrent :D

  20. I love that MLK is getting a monument, but it is pretty shitty looking. Reminds me of when Han Solo got trapped in carbonite.
