News for Friday, August 12

Alright, since the work week is done, here's some more news for ya! I'm thinking on doing these posts twice a week, maybe every Wednesday and Saturday. Thoughts?

Our sappy story goes to a man in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, who as a kid painted a bunch of quarters, and got one back as change recently. Yep.

Onto more serious news, the United States is deporting an Albanian Mother and son...even though the husband is currently in the United States, testifying against a Albanian mobser. 10 years ago, mobster has already shot the man, and put his nieces into prostitution because he's testified, or was planning to. The Man and his nieces have been granted asylum in the US, but the wife/son, they'll be okay back in Albania, right?

Here's the 10 Housing Markets that are going to fail this year. California and Florida aren't looking so good...

In lighter news, dark beer has been found to have more iron than pale beer. No real story here, I just know that the dark beer fans will appreciate it.

And 30 years ago (yesterday), IBM came out with the first personal computer. If you showed this to anyone born in the 90's, their reaction is probably "Who's IBM?"

And here's a really big piece of news for me, and all my other Canadians. Our government is trying to outlaw internet anonymity . IF you voted Conservative, thank you. I hope you don't do anything illegal on the internet, or troll (because that will be illegal too), because they'll be able to monitor our internet in real time and get your ass!

America, fuck yeah!

  2. Dood, in the Bay Area california, I cannot find a house outside of the ghetto for less than $650,000. I wouldn't mind a 40% drop in home price here.

IBM, hey kids, they're the corporation that sold Nazis protocomputers to more efficiently kill Jewish people.

Same here in the states bro, a bill just made it out of committee to require ALL Isp's to log and retain for 18 mo every web adress visited by their customers. Every single web interaction would be required to be monitored and stored, BY LAW. Chea!

Start singing the doors, "this is the end..."
