So I found a news report of the windstorm that blew through yesterday; looking at what it did to our city is kinda crazy. I mean, the entire downtown was shut down. From wind. How often are you going to hear about that happening???
It does depend on the layout of the place really. Wales gets a lot of wind but the place stays standing, and it doesn't do too much damage in places with really high buildings because they're built with wind in mind.
That's very common in my city. There are too many windstorms and sandstorms a year. :/
ReplyDeleteWoah, it's like Canada's version of a hurricane.
ReplyDeleteI think the street design make it worse as well.
ReplyDeleteWow, that plane looks like it's moving sideways! Hell yeah go vector addition!
ReplyDeleteThat's crazy to hear about, that wind must have been absolutely insane to, like Mike says, create near hurricane like effects.

ReplyDeleteWow I think the Windy City has a new rival.
ReplyDeleteWow. Crazy!
ReplyDeleteOK, OK, I'll stop complaining about the weather over here.
ReplyDeleteoh yeah this happens in toronto atleast once a year too
ReplyDelete@Sub-Radar-Mike and Calgary (where it happened) is Canadas version of the south!
ReplyDelete^ Yeah pretty much. We're pretty much the Canadian version of Texas.
ReplyDeleteGeez, I hope those Mayans weren't right.
ReplyDeleteGood thing they're all dead.
damn that was some crazy wind.
ReplyDeleteCanadian accents make me smile, reminds me of home in WI. @R.gers, lol'd at the vector addition!
