Tunesday: Special Christmas Edition!

I figured that I'd give you all some gifts this Christmas, with some new, free tunes, as well as links to some of the other free tunes I've given away over this last year; just in case you missed them!

But before we get into Tunesday....check this out. Dude frontflips (and lands almost perfectly) over a fully upright defender, and gets into the endzone for the touchdown. Christmas came early (and probably left early) in Cincinnati!

To start off, we get a genre defying tune from Totte Stankovich. Its almost a mix of dubstep, garage and hip hop. Its a nice party song for sure!
Totte Stankovich - The City - FREE DOWNLOAD by Totte Stankovich

Next is Om Unit's remix of Krampfhaft's "I Need You". There is no DL link on the soundcloud, but that is because they have a few other remixes for you too! DL HERE
Krampfhaft - I Needed You (Om Unit Remix) FREE DOWNLOAD (link in description) by omunit

Here is a bootleg of James Blake, from a good friend of mine, Cam Boyd aka Crimson. He lives in my city, and I'm actually working on a remix for him. This is nice and mellow though; perfect Christmas chillin music.
James Blake - Lindesfarne II (Crimson Bootleg) FREE WAV by crimson.

According to Riskotheque, this tune was just recovered from a 4 year old hard drive, so it is possibly the first dubstep track he ever finished. This piece of history is now ours to have!
Riskotheque - Bad Language FREE DL by riskotheque

A nice, chilled out old school dub track from L-Wiz. It's nice to know they're still making music!
L-Wiz - Island ( Free Download ) by lwizdubstep

Some darker, old school dubstep vibes for you from Djinn. This was actually posted on MRK-1's soundcloud, as he figures this is an artist we all need to be looking into...
Djinn - Darkness Falls (free download) by MRK1

Another chilled out one from Cat People!
Cat People Got 9 Lives - Here I Am by CPG9L

Some Hip Hop/Disco instrumental from a favorite (who has been on the blog before), King Boom!
Sword in the Moon - STMB Beat Battle 250 (106.000) by King Boom Productions

Dank n Dirty Dubz are giving away a free compilation, and here is a little Garage style teaser from Bristol producer Calski. This track isn't dank, or dirty, but its damn good.
DANK006 - Calski - Saffire [FREE DOWNLOAD] by DANK 'N' DIRTY DUBZ

A DnB roller from Metrik, another favorite who has been on the blog before
Metrik - Your World VIP by Metrik

And lastly (for new stuff), here is a free EP from Substep Infrabass. He has 7 free remixes of his track Monotonium for you! What a guy! DL HERE

And a late addition from Helix!

Tunesday feat. Skream and Benga, plus a few mixes from myself

Ahoy there folks, Tunesday is back (and will probably be returning from now on). This week Scion is running a promotion with two of my favorite producers, Skream and Benga. Just fill in the info to get your 5 free tunes! Booyah!

Also, as a little plug, here are three old mixes I keep forgetting about. These are actually where the name Low Frequency Therapy came from. Two of them are from around 2008/2009, the other one is from last year. There should be download links on the site, and if not you can download them with Google Chrome's 'Mixcloud Downloader'! For some reason this doesn't work with the oldest mix...but thats okay. Enjoy them folks; lemme know what you think!

Four Free Tunes from Truth

Earlier in the week, Truth gave away one of these tunes on soundcloud, and I figured 'eh, I'll wait until tunesday', but now I can't. All of these are rating pretty high on the bassweight scale...so make sure you turn those subs up!

Free Tunesday

Here's an awesome bootleg of Collie Budz "Come Around".

Come Around RMX **Free Download** by Rogue Star

Here's the original if you've never heard it before

Also, here is 5 free tunes from Gridlok (who I've featured in a previous post). This is some more experimental stuff, compared to his usual drum and bass material. Check it out and lets see what you think!

Sunday Funday

Well, its a busy one for me today. I still have papers to write, but I have a dilemma. My crew's old bar is shutting down for good...so we're all going down to have one last beer and watch the Grey Cup (Canadian Football...I couldn't care less about it). Hopefully that last beer stays at one, and doesn't turn into too many, I don't think writing a paper drunk would be too good (or would it?)

Here is a free tune from a good friend of mine, Mark Instinct. Its on some moombaton steez. Lets here what you think!
Mark Instinct - Room Shaker - [110 BPM] - FREE DOWNLOAD by MARK_INSTINCT

Is it seriously only Tuesday?

I woke up this morning, feeling so good, thinkin it was Friday. Apparently its going to be a long week, but oh well. I have a couple of papers to finish up before the end of the month, so I figured it was going to be pretty busy.

Anywho, here are a few funny things I've found. First off, we got something as crazy as it sounds, and that is Volcano Surfing.

While they Volcano isn't active...these people are still zoomin down! 40 km per hour doesn't seem too fast when you're in a car or on a motorcycle, but when you're just on a sled its extreme.

Then there was also this article I found, with the worst tip you've ever seen at a restaurant. As a bartender, I would kill this dude.

And before I go, my friend's label, Tycho Records, has released a free compilation on soundcloud. Enjoy!
Free Bass'n Vol.1 by Tycho Records

Cheesy Music

I'm a sucker for all types of cheesy music, so when I heard this remix, I had to laugh pretty hard. Its a bootleg of Lady Gaga's Telephone (done by MRK-1). You might be be tired of the original, but this remix is pretty good, for how cheesy it is! And its a free download, which I know you all love.
Lady Gaga - Telephone (MRK1 Booted it Rmx) by MRK1

What are your favorite cheesy tunes? I think my next post is just going to be a bunch of stuff I should be ashamed to like.

More Free Tunes For You!

Thank you all for the wishes on the midterm. I wrote it today...and am pretty confident about it! Its always good to come out of an exam with that confidence. Last exam I got a B-, so lets see if I can top it!

Anyways, here are some new downloads for you. I really love all three. Now, back to studying!

AHEAD OF MY TIME "09" by FRUITYLOOPKING

King Boom - The Tyrant [Prod. By JuSoul] by King Boom

King Boom - Flying Dagger (Dont Fail) by King Boom

Have You Ever Thought a Mailbox Was Something Else?

If so, have you ever been as depressed as this fella was?

Here is a crazy soccer goal, via Slovenia. I don't even think the guy who kicked it knew it went in.

And to relate to some music, here is a cool song from King & Hulk. I don't even really know how to explain it, but its really different; quite cool.
KING & HULK - HOODWINK by KING

(here are some free tunes from him as well. I would do more, but I am busy in class! university ftw I guess?)

ALSO!

I've pushed all my post updates onto twitter, as I plan on trying to use it more, so if you'd like to follow, please do! I'm going to be putting a twitter widget on the blog as well. So follow (I promise I'll follow back), @kidshuffleLFT

Want a Free iPad?

I got this email from my girlfriend today...seems legit!

If you are interested in getting an iPad I can get hold of them through my cousin. These are legit, not off the back of a truck, they are from a canceled Hospital contract due to the Government cutbacks.

The numbers are limited
–he has twenty iPads going for less than half price so it's first come first served.

He has already sold one (pic is attached below so you can see what you are getting).

Get back to me quick as you can if you want one.

Full specs noted below:

Free Tune from Gridlok and AK1200

Before we get into the tune, lets look at this first:

Now, back to our feature:

To quote the soundcloud
'This was originally only available on vinyl. For the first time me and AK have decided to unleash it on the digital world as a FREE download! The Godfather of U.S. Drum and Bass teams up with the Rick Deckard of Drum and Bass to provide you a groove that the infamous Goldie described as: "a tune that shoulda been on headz".'

AK1200 and GRIDLOK - Dub 4 Dub by GRIDLOK

I think its pretty cool of them to release this one for free. They realize they made their sales off it, so fuck it, put it digitally for nothing. Big ups to the both of them! Here's a mix from Gridlok as well.
